About the Author Paul Arrowsmith lives in Headingly Leeds with his wonderful wife Caroline who is a great source of inspiration and support. Paul has three grown up children by a previous marriage and it is to Caroline and Rachael, Daniel and Samuel that he dedicates his first book. Paul has been involved in writing stories all his life. At the age of twenty he founded his own amateur drama company and again at thirty he founded a Theatre in Education Company. Ten years ago Paul graduated from the MA course in Screenwriting for Television and Film from the Northern Film School, Leeds, UK. Since then he have worked on a TV drama series with Tiger Aspect and has script edited four feature films and countless short films, which between them have won over 20 awards at film festivals worldwide. Paul has also taught Screenwriting at the Northern Film School. Leonardo: The Divine Proposition is his first novel and one that has taught him much about the skill of writing and how to convert your ideas into a strong narrative. |

As well as the novel, Paul currently has three feature length screenplays in development with different production companies, including two that are with BAFTA nominated producers and one that is under consideration by a leading Hollywood director.
Paul has been supported in the past by Film Four, the UK Film Council, The Lottery Commission and Northern Film and Media.
